It has been a VERY long time since I've blogged. If you know me, you'll know that I have a terrible memory. I'm going to try to get better at this and start blogging travel stories, memories, and just thoughts of the day. I remember things when there is a trigger so let's start triggering some stories =)
I was going through some of my old journal entries and came across this poem that I wrote on October 31st, 2004. That was almost 10 years ago!! Isn't that crazy? I was very surprised when I read it because I don't remember being artistic. Now I wonder what inspired me to write this ? I will have to find out and save that for another day. =)
I BELIEVE...
I believe that love still exists
And that it will come when it is your time
I believe in butterflies
The feeling you get when you meet the nice guy
I believe in the stars and the moon
And those who sit underneath gazing infinitely into the sky
I believe love hurts
Like a sharp prick of a needle that never seems to go away
I believe in true happiness
Only to those who are lucky to have found it
I believe in the love for life
For those who see the beauty of the world just as it is
I believe in friendship
Among those who cherish the people beside them
